The Human Service Center is a not-for profit organization. The main administrative office is located at 10257 State Route 3, Red Bud, IL 62278. Applications are accepted until the position deadline. Management staff review applications for specified qualifications and experience and select individuals for interviews. Reference checks, fingerprinting, background checks (Nurses Aid Registry, DCFS, and Illinois State Police) and job-related skills testing are completed before hiring. Full and Part Time Direct Care
We are seeking mental health professionals to provide supportive services to our adult clients with mental illness or developmental disabilities in a residential setting. Responsibilities include prompting and assisting clients on independent activities of daily living, charting case records accurately and timely, and an ongoing assessment of client functioning. Full and part time positions available, shifts vary between day, evening and overnight. Residential sites are located in Sparta and Chester.
Job Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Required, Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Health field preferred
Mental Health Residential Manager
This position is responsible for the clinical oversight of a Mental Health Residential program. The program provides 24-hour support for individuals diagnosed with a mental health condition who live in shared apartments. This position ensures that the individuals involved in this program receive excellent clinical care through the use of evidenced based programming.
This position is responsible for ensuring 24-hour coverage of the facility. Additionally this position supervises those working within the program to ensure that services are delivered in a way that maintains program efficacy.
Job Requirements: Master’s Degree in a social service field and one year of direct service work in a residential setting. At least one year of supervision experience is preferred. The position requires excellent written and verbal communication and problem solving skills. A manager in this position must have a strong belief in mental health recovery.
