The Human Service Center is a not-for profit organization.  The main administrative office is located at 10257 State Route 3, Red Bud, IL 62278. Applications are accepted until the position deadline. Management staff review applications for specified qualifications and experience and select individuals for interviews.  Reference checks, fingerprinting, background checks (Nurses Aid Registry, DCFS, and Illinois State Police) and job-related skills testing are completed before hiring. All individuals must be able to pass background check requirements.

Full and Part Time Direct Care – Chester, IL 

We are seeking mental health professionals to provide supportive services to our adult clients with mental illness or developmental disabilities in a residential setting. Responsibilities include prompting and assisting clients on independent activities of daily living, charting case records accurately and timely, and an ongoing assessment of client functioning. Full and part time positions available, shifts vary between day, evening and overnight. Residential site located in Chester.

Full Time Director of Operations – Red Bud, IL Office

This position is responsible for directing the delivery of behavioral health and developmental disability services across a two county area. This person will mentor, direct, lead and inspire the team. This position will work with the management team to meet key agency metrics and compliance with requirements. A Master’s degree in the social service field is required.  Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker or Professional Counselor is required

Full Time Project Coordinator – Red Bud, IL Office

Seeking an energetic person who is self-motivated to provide coordination of internal and external resources for a flawless execution on a wide variety of projects. This includes a strong emphasis on marketing, fundraising and special event development.  This position works across all levels within the organization and with external customers.  This position must be creative and have the ability to independently plan, coordinate and carry out marketing and special events. This person is responsible for content and social media platforms.  Position requires a Bachelor’s degree and one year of experience with fundraising, marketing or development is preferred

Full Time Site Manager – Red Bud, IL Office

This position supervises and provides clinical direction to the crisis team and behavioral health team, including case managers and mental health and substance use staff.  Position requires a Master’s degree in social work or related field and clinical licensure is preferred

Full Time Recovery Coach – Sparta, IL 

The Recovery Coach helps the individuals in the program with daily living activities (cooking, planning, budgeting, etc) and writes progress notes on these activities.  Shift times will vary. High school diploma or Bachelor degree required

Part Time Bus Driver – Red Bud, IL Office

Part time drivers needed for morning and/or afternoon bus run.  Position requires a CDL driver’s license

Part Time Crisis Intervention Worker – Washington County and Randolph County, IL 

Be available by phone to receive and screen telephone calls, Receive information and determine in which manner call should be handled.
Provide brief supportive counseling, Provide crisis intervention assessment to individual, Assist client in crisis with referrals and resource information in order to explore least restrictive environment to restore equilibrium, Link individuals who have received crisis intervention services with HSC direct staff for follow up services.  Position requires a BA/BS in Social Service field accepted, Masters preferred
